Construction
Fabrikist artisan shoes are hand cut and sewn in Turkey of natural materials. Features: cowhide outer, lambskin lining, tanned water buffalo insole and leather outsole. Shoes are stitched together with beeswax coated twine. Natural rubber under the sole, affixed with natural glue, adds durability and comfort.
Fit and sizing
Slides and slip ons may fit snugly at first. Our soft leather expands and molds to your foot, stretching up to 1/4 shoe size if needed. Available in EU sizing, please refer to size chart.
Custom Order
Custom made-to-order shoes are available in all men’s and women’s sizes. Fabrikist will special order any of our styles, or even other available colors we don’t stock. Contact us for your special order request.
Custom shoe orders have $10 additional charge per pair (Slides $145 / Slip-ons $155) to offset increased shipping fees. Custom orders are paid in 2 installments. Half the purchase price is due in advance, and the balance (plus domestic / international shipping to you, if applicable) is due when your new shoes arrive. Once an order is placed, shoes are usually crafted and arrive in 2 weeks (expect up to 4 weeks for large orders or during peak / holiday shipping times). After your balance is paid, I ship your purchase, OR schedule pick up / delivery for Los Angeles customers. Custom orders are non-returnable and exempt from sale or discount pricing.
